Agent Mesh Protocol checker

Check public Agent Mesh Protocol discovery for free. Inspect agent.json or an AMP extension in an A2A card, with version, address and endpoint findings.

Each run reads robots.txt, the root A2A card and AI Catalog, then at most one linked A2A card. If no usable AMP extension is found, it reads /.well-known/agent.json. Requests use GoodForBotsBot. Messaging, health and authentication are not tested. Results are not saved, and no listing is created.

What the Agent Mesh Protocol checker checks

It runs these checks from the full scan, under the same rules, and the descriptions below come from our standards catalogue. Unlike the full scan, it never retries through a browser, so a file behind bot protection can fail here and still pass in a report.

AMP discovery

We read the native identity document or the explicit AMP extension in an A2A card. We check the declared version, agent addresses, HTTPS endpoint and delivery of the document.

Results: Pass: usable public AMP discovery is published. Warn: an AMP declaration is recognisable but unusable. N/A: no public declaration is established, or it could not be read. Absence never costs points.
